Case registered against Independent candidate

A case under section 135 of Bombay Police Act was registered against an Independent candidate in Akola district today, police said.
A local election commission official lodged the complaint against Baliram Ingle after he came to Murtizapur office to file nomination, in a bullock cart and beat drums.
Ingle was accompanied by a large number of supporters.
A case under sections 188 (disobedience to order duty promulgated by public servant) of Indian Penal Code and section 135 of Bombay Police Act has been registered against Ingle in Murtizapur police station.
