She was arrested on Wednesday in Osmanabad while accepting bribe from a farmer for reimbursing the compensation.
Sources said that prior to Osmanabad, Shobha Raut worked in Parbhani. She was nabbed yesterday while accepting Rs 39,200 from a farmer.
After this incident, ACB sleuths raided her Parbhani residence on Thursday and seized unaccountable property worth Rs 80 lakh, including Rs 25 lakhs in cash, 300 grams of gold, Rs 30 lakh in a Hingoli bank account, term deposits of Rs 20 lakh with various banks, besides post office and saving certificates.
