A cashier working at the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur has been suspended for alleged irregularities in exchange of demonetised notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 in Dausa district of Rajasthan.
The bank administration suspended Yogendra Singh Meena yesterday after a primary investigation found that he exchanged nearly Rs one crore on three fake IDs.
"We have deputed an officer to conduct a detailed enquiry in the matter which is going on," a vigilance officer of the bank said.
