The actress said that her latest step is to ensure that she continues to be in good health, reported E!News.
"Catherine has proactively checked into a health care facility. Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner," her camp said in a statement.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is married to actor Michael Douglas, decided to go public with her condition after seeking treatment in 2011.
"There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help. This is a disorder that affects millions of people, and I am one of them," she said.
