CBCID, EIPR seize fake mobile accessories

: Fake electronic products belonging to mobile phone companies were seized and eight persons were nabbed by Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights and CBCID officials during a surprise raid conducted recently.
EIPR and CBCID officials carried out the raid in the famous Ritchie Street and also at eight places in Chennai yesterday and seized the fake products, an official release here said.
Fake mobile phone accessories including batteries, chargers, headsets, were seized during the raid, it said.
Eight persons have been arrested and the goods worth over RS 15 lakh was seized, the release said.
