CBI arrests 2 persons in RTI activist's murder

CBI has arrested two persons in Mumbai in connection with the murder of RTI activist Premkant Jha in 2012.
The agency has arrested Baburao R Ramanna and Umesh Shankhe in connection with the murder of Jha, who was shot dead in February, 2012, sources said.
Jha was reportedly seeking information related to alleged illegal constructions in Vasai-Virar area of the metropolis.
Both have been sent to police custody till January 18 by the chief judicial magistrate of Vasai, the sources said.
