Special court judge Chetna Singh today reserved the order after CBI prayed for conducting narco analysis, Brain Electrical Activation Profile (BEAP) and lie-detector test on Tripathi.
Opposing the CBI's plea, defence counsel Sudhir Tyagi said his client was fully cooperating with the agency and so there was no need for those tests.
Amanmani, the son of former UP Minister Amar Mani Tripathi and Madhumani Tripathi, who were convicted in the murder case of poetess Madhumita Shukla, had married 27-year- old Saara, a native of Lucknow, in July 2013.
Finding discrepancies in Aman's version of accident, the mother of Saara had lodged an FIR against him at Sirsaganj police station.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had in October 2015 recommended a CBI inquiry into the incident at her request.
