CBI Director's daughter marries an IAS officer

RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was conspicuous by his absence at the wedding of CBI Director Ranjit Sinha's daughter who tied the knot with an IAS officer here today.
Many Bihar leaders, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, attended the wedding of Rudrani Sinha, an analyst in NTRO, with Awanish Kumar Sharan, an 2009-batch IAS batch officer.
Bihar Governor D Y Patil and Kerala Governor Nikhil Kumar, another former IPS officer, also blessed the couple.
A reception would be held in Delhi on July 19.
