According to the fresh FIR, Singh is alleged to have amassed Rs 6.14 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A 1984 batch IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory cadre, Singh, who was the Principal Secretary in the Department of SC, ST and Minorities, was arrested along with his personal assistant by CBI on December 8 night for allegedly receiving bribe of Rs 2.20 lakh for clearing bills of a security firm supplying manpower to his department.
Sources claimed that the recoveries made from his residence showed that he was living a chic lifestyle as the agency found 300 bottles of high-end liquor brands and expensive watches.
