"CBI conducted search in the (bank) lockers of my wife and daughter yesterday and found only personal jewellery," Mohapatra claimed.
"I had requested CBI on November 18, 2014, when they conducted a raid in my house, to search the lockers that day itself to quash any doubts among the people as to what is there in the lockers," former BJD leader Mohapatra told mediapersons.
However, as they did not do it for next three weeks after taking the two locker keys, Mohapatra said he wrote a letter to CBI seeking immediate search to put an end to rumours about his wealth.
