CBI searches chit fund company premises

CBI today carried out searches at 20 locations in connection with alleged swindling of investors' money by a chit fund company and its sister concerns.
CBI sources said the searches were carried out at the offices of Green Ray Group of Companies and it directors at various locations in Odisha, Delhi and Dehradun.
The sources said the company has duped thousands of investors of their hard earned money which was over Rs 1000 crore.
The agency is probing 44 companies in Odisha chit fund case with as many FIR.
