The Finance Ministry has sought nomination of eligible officers on deputation in CEIB from Chief Commissioners of Income Tax, Customs and Central Excise.
The Ministry has also written to Director Generals of three paramilitary forces -- Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) -- to send names of suitable officers for deputation in the bureau.
The nominations is sought to fill 13 posts of Intelligence Officers in the CEIB.
"The Intelligence Officers constitutes an important work force of the organisation. The Intelligence Officer would be entitled for deputation allowance, as admissible," according to a note sent to the paramilitary forces by the CEIB.
According to a Finance Ministry report, there are 35 vacant posts in the CEIB out of the total strength of 113.
