The 48-year-old singer debuted the emotion-filled track, called "Recovering", on Thursday and in it, she opens up about her personal heartbreak, reported Female First.
"I am recovering / The hope that I lost / The part of my soul / That paid the cost. Little by little / Day by day / One step at a time / Shake off the devil / Take back my peace of mind," she sings.
During the course of the song, Dion confesses to being an anxiety addict and someone who harbours constant regrets.
"Recovering" was written by pop star Pink and Dion personally thanked the 37-year-old singer-songwriter at May's Billboard Music Awards.
Angelil, 73, passed away in January following a battle with throat cancer.
