The 44-year-old pop singer's husband Rene Angelil says the reason of the sale is Dion's residency in Las Vegas and the birth of their 19-month-old twins Eddie and Nelson as they have changed their course of lives, reported Daily Mail online.
"We are mostly in Florida, Rene-Charles goes to school here. And of course there are commitments in Vegas because of Celine," said Angelil.
Their Canadian house is situated on a private island and boasts of a private bridge, security station, outdoor swimming pool and a game room.
Dion and Angelil are in no mood to leave Canada completely as they plan to keep their more modest USD 2 million country chalet.
