Central team visits Mettur reservoir

A three-member central government team today visited the Mettur Stanley Reservoir as part of undertaking survey of five dams in the sate.
The group comprises team leader Saidhanyamurthy, Dr Krishnan and Arunkumar.
The team is conducting a survey of the dam by boat and is checking the depth of sediment in the dam, among others, officials said.
Meanwhile, the water level in the Mettur dam this morning stood at 84 feet against the full level of 120 feet.
Inflow was 182 cusecs while outflow 6999 cusecs.
