Centre's cooperation is developing Jharkhand : Das

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said many development projects are being implemented in the state with the Union government's cooperation.
Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony and inauguration of various railway projects worth Rs 3425 crore by railways in the state, Das said Jharkhand was lagging behind as far as railway was concerned but things improved ever since Narendra Modi-led government came to power.

The chief minister has urged the Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu to open a railway zonal office in Ranchi.

Das also urged the Railway Board to take a decision soon regarding the proposed construction of a railway overbridge in Jamshedpur, increasing the frequency of Hatia-Yashwantpur Express to three times a week and stoppage of Tata-Danapur express at Adityapur.
He also demanded rail services between Ranchi-Jaynagar.
