Centre should ensure Karnataka releases due share of water to

The Centre should ensure that Tamil Nadu received the quantum of water from river Cauvery as apportioned by the Supreme Court, CPI leader D Pandian said here today.
Tamil Nadu and the people, with due respect to the court, have accepted the ruling.
However, it was the responsibility of the Centre to ensure that Karnataka was adhering to the verdict and release the 177.25 tmc ft to Tamil Nadu, he told reporters here.
