Centre to sanction Rs 94 cr for skill development prog in Raj

Nearly 65,000 youths of Rajasthan will be trained in traditional art and the Centre will soon sanction Rs 94 crore for their skill development, Union Minister Rajeev Pratap Rudy said.
The Minister of State for Skill Development during a meeting with Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje yesterday said the Union government will soon sanction Rs 94 crore for the purpose.
During the meeting, Raje sought financial assistance of Rs 50 crore for setting up of automated drivers training, testing and skill institute through National Skill Development Corporation.
