"The government has undertaken reforms in ESIC (Employee's State Insurance Corporation). 68 new ESIC hospitals will be set up in the country. ESIC dispensaries will be opened in all over India including the north-eastern states," Dattatreya said.
The Minister further said ESIC Hospital at Sanathnagar here will be modernised at the cost of Rs 100 crore and a new hospital will be set up in Kavadiguda, also in Hyderabad, with an expenditure of Rs 50 crore.
He also made an appeal to Telangana Chief Minister K Chnadrasekhar Rao to allot land for construction of ESIC hospitals.
