"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on June 11, 2015, inter alia, to consider entering into a Joint Venture for sanitaryware and/or tiles manufacturing," Cera Sanitaryware said in a filing to BSE.
The company however did not give any details about the proposed joint venture.
Last month Cera had entered into a marketing agreement with ECE Banyo, owners of Italian Luxury Sanitaryware brand ISVEA for sales, distribution and marketing of the brand in India for a period of 5 years.
The company scrip closed at Rs 2,152.95, down 3.43 per cent, on the BSE.
