Singer Chad Kroeger moved his stuff out of the LA home he once shared with estranged wife Avril Lavigne, just hours after she confirmed their split.
Lavigne, 30, announced their split on September 2 after two years of marriage.
The Nickelback frontman was spotted collecting several boxes and some of his most treasured items, including two guitars, from their USD 5.4 million property in Sherman Oaks, which they purchased together in July, reported Us magazine.
The 40-year-old rocker was accompanied by an unidentified young woman, who helped him move his belongings, which also included a fan, into his vehicle.
The former couple spent most of their time living in their native Canada since getting married in the South of France in July 2013, but a source recently revealed Lavigne, who has been battling Lyme disease since last year, is building a new life for herself in LA.
"Avril is still sick, so she's not working much--just here and there. It's been a tough year. But these days, she's living in LA and has a very close, supportive group of friends. She's focused on her recovery but she knows it's going to take time," the source said.
The pair, whose marriage was first rumoured to be on the rocks last September, decided to end their two-year marriage because they "didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things."
But while announcing their separation this week, the "Complicated" hitmaker insisted they are still "the best of friends.
