Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has agreed to name the samadhi of late Chandrasekhar as 'Jannayak Sthal', a senior UD Ministry official said.
Neeraj Shekhar, son of the former PM and MP, had last month written a letter to the Urban Development Ministry proposing that his father's Samadhi at Ekta Sthal Samadhi Complex in New Delhi be named as 'Jannayak Sthal'.
Keeping in view the long career of former Prime Minister late Chandrasekhar in public life and his distinguished contribution to different walks of public life, Naidu has agreed to the proposal.
