Chenani-Nashri tunnel project to be completed by July 2016

The 9-km long Chenani-Nashri tunnel on Jammu-Srinagar national highway will be completed by July 2016.
Project Director, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), R P Singh today said that by July 2016, Chenani-Nashri tunnel project will be completed.
The two-lane tunnel, connecting Chenani with Nashri in Ramban area, will slash the 31-km of the journey and reduce the travel time by two hours, he said.
