'The Voice UK' producers have reportedly ruled out offering pop star Cheryl Cole a job on the show.
Bosses believe that the singer is still too closely associated with rival series 'The X Factor', reported Sun online.
Black Eyed Peas star will.I.Am, who is rumoured to be quitting 'The Voice UK' to join 'American Idol', is said to have put her name forward to replace him.
"She's great with the contestants and really gives everything to them," the singer said of Cole.
He is still involved in her UK career despite the Girls Aloud singer parting ways with him as her US manager when she gave up on cracking America earlier this year.
Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue have already announced that they will not return to their coaching roles on the BBC One singing competition next year.
Marvin Humes and Melanie C have both expressed an interest in joining 'The Voice UK', which will apparently be brought forward in the TV schedules next year.
