Chess competition in Nashik from July 25

Nearly 250 chess players, including 140 internationals, have enrolled for the four-day All India Fide Rating Chess Competition to begin here from July 25, organisers said.
Several players from Asian countries are expected to take part in the competition.
Six chess players of international fame - Master Ravi Teja, Anup Deskmukh (Nagpur), Samir Katmale (Sangli), CRG Krishna (Tamil Nadu), Pune's Chandrashekhar Gokhale and Surendran of Andhra Pradesh will be seen in action during the event, chief organiser Milind Kulkarni told reporters here yesterday.
The entry forms for the competition, having a cash prize of Rs two lakhs, will be accepted till July 23, he said.
