Child dead, 3 others taken ill due to suspected food poisoning

A two year-old child died and three others were taken ill today due to suspected food poisoning at a village in Bihar's Lakhisarai district, a police officer said.
The incident took place at Jaghibishanpur village in which four children took ill after eating food following which all of them were admitted to Sadar hospital where one Sonu Kumar (2) died during treatment, Town police station in-charge Manoj Kumar said.
While the condition of one child Golu Kumar (4) was stated to be critical, two boys were discharged from hospital,
He said.
A probe was on, Kumar said.
