China rejects reports of its troops training Pakistan Army soldiers

They added that the allegations made were not backed with facts

China today dismissed reports that its troops are training Pakistan Army soldiers along the India-Pakistan border, saying that the allegation is not backed by facts.

"There are no facts backing relevant reports," Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said in a one line reply at a media briefing while replying to a question on the BSF intelligence wing's report that Chinese troops have been seen training Pakistan soldiers in 'weapon handling' techniques opposite Rajouri sector of International Border.

India has been expressing concern for several years over the presence Chinese military personnel in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

This is the first time in recent years that allegations surfaced about the presence Chinese troops presence along the India-Pakistan International Border.
