The Guangdong provincial discipline watchdog said today that some of the officials played golf during working hours, some used taxpayers' money, and some asked business partners to pay for the fees.
"All departments must uphold Party discipline in daily management and tighten supervision of issues as small as playing golf," said the chief of Guangdong provincial discipline inspection commission.
As a major campaign against corruption is underway, discipline watchdogs across China have been on a drive against unprofessional behaviour, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
