Chinese troops have conducted military exercises at the foot of a high altitude mountain in Tibet to test the endurance of the soldiers and the efficacy of equipments.
The military exercise was held on December 20.
Photos posted on the state-run People's Daily showed the soldiers exercising with battle tanks and armoured vehicles at Tanggula located in the Nagqu prefecture which has a very high elevation of 5,000-meters high in the Tibetan plateau.
It's a great challenge for soldiers to complete missions in the severe cold of a 5,000-metre-high plateau, the Daily said in a brief write-up.
