Chowdary, Laxman hail Army for surgical strikes across LoC

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y S Chowdary, Telangana BJP president K Laxman, state Congress chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy and other leaders today hailed the anti-terror surgical strikes carried out by Army across the LoC.
"As a leader of the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party and a member and part of the NDA government, I commend, compliment and laud Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his strong leadership in putting into action a national resolve that has build for strong action against the perpetrators of terror from across the border," Chowdary said in a statement.
"As a political leader and common citizen, I hail our brave Indian Army for successful surgical strikes targeting the launch pads for terrorists across the LoC. With this action, our Government has sent across a strong message to Pakistan that we will no longer tolerate cross-border attacks on our motherland," he said.

Hailing the surgical strikes, Laxman said the action is being welcomed by the people of the country.
Reddy, a former senior defence official, said he fully supported the Army's action as an ex-soldier who worked at the Pakistan border.
