Rapper Chris Brown is planning to take retirement from music after his upcoming sixth album 'X'.
Brown, 24, turned his back on a successful career because he was feeling tortured by an unforgiving public for his past mistakes, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Don't worry mainstream America. After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album," he posted on Twitter.
The rapper's upcoming studio album 'X' will be releasing on August 20.
"Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool and over it!," Brown added referring to the infamous assault he committed on then-girlfriend Rihanna when they were together in 2009.
He had also turned himself in at a Van Nuys, California jail one day before the set deadline for an alleged hit-and-run case last May.
