Pataky, 37, who already has a daughter India Rose with Hemsworth, 30, apparently gave birth to her twins at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA, reported TMZ.
The security at the hospital was ultra-high, and two security guards were also standing outside her room.
The couple announced in November that they were expecting their second child, but the news that the pair were set to welcome twins began public in January.
Chris and Elsa were married in 2010.
