Matters related to issues in the sector in aided educational institutions were taken up at the meeting, Church sources said.
However, the sources said today's meeting had nothing to do with Vijayan's statement yesterday that many self financing institutions run by Christian managements had also become business enterprises.
"Today's meeting was one arranged earlier and it has noting to do with Chief Minister's statement', the sources said.
