Churchill Brothers have been stuck to the sixth place ever since theirvictory over Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal.
But after these games, they managed a draw against Shillong Lajong, Mumbai FC, but lost to Aizawl FC in their last match, which has put them in tight spot for survival in the tournament.
New entrant Chennai City and Minerva Punjab do not have to fight for relegation.
The axe is now on Churchill Brothers, DSK Shivajian FC and Mumbai FC.
"We are still not safe from the relegation zone and tomorrow's three points will definitely be a huge boost for us. I have asked my boys to give their best," Churchill Brothers coach Derrick Pereira said.
"Their has been misunderstanding in the defence which has resulted in our defeat against Aizawl in the last match. We have sorted our mistakes and now looking to finish on a winning note in our last two matches," he told PTI.
"Chennai City have done well in their maiden appearance and we need to play to our potential in order to win tomorrow," Pereira said.
