Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma and WTO Director General Roberto Azevedo are among the leaders who will participate in CII's annual Partnership Summit beginning from Monday in Bangalore.
The three-day event aims to highlight the investment opportunities in India.
Besides, over 1,000 delegates from 45 countries such as Japan, UAE and Singapore are also likely to participate in the event.
"It will be a platform to exchange ideas and evolve solutions to the most urgent challenges confronting the world today," CII said in a statement.
Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) Deputy Secretary-General William Danvers, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and trade ministers and officials of countries like Czech Republic, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia and Mauritius would also be participating.
The issues to be discussed at the summit include "What are the challenges and opportunities emerging-market and developing economies face as they seek to integrate into the global production chain? How will Building Partnerships help in integration of companies from developing countries into the global value chain?," the statement said.
It added that Bahrain will feature as the Focus Country at the summit.
"The privatisation and diversification currently being undertaken in the Bahraini economy is expected to offer Indian businesses vast opportunities to participate there," it added.
The Summit will be held in Bangalore for the third time. Last time, it happened in Agra.
