CISF jawan injured as glass panel collapses

A CISF jawan was today injured when a glass panel at the airport collapsed, officials said.
CISF jawan Anwar Basha, who was posted on duty at Gate No 8 of the Domestic Departure area suffered injuries on his hand, officials said, adding, he was sent to a private hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, an unclaimed handbag at the Departure area of Domestic Terminal created a flutter.
CISF officials removed it with the help of Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and an examination of the bag revealed nothing suspicious, they said.
It was handed over to the Airport manager to be returned to the due claimant, the officials added.
