Citi India names Renzo Arcoria Head of Mkts & Securities Srvs

Citi India today said it has appointed Renzo Arcoria as Head of Markets and Securities Services for India.
Prior to this role, Arcoria has been CCO and Markets Head for Italy since July 2013. He was appointed Branch Head for Citibank Europe PLC in January 2016.
Before joining Citi, Renzo was Head of Banks and Retail Sales at Barclays Capital in London. Prior to that, he was the Head of Fixed Income Sales for Southern Europe, Middle East and Eastern Europe at Bank of America.

Ashoka University names Rudrangshu Mukherjee next Chancellor * Ashoka University today named current Vice Chancellor Rudrangshu Mukherjee as its next Chancellor, after Andre Beteille's three-year term ends in April 2017.
Mukherjee, after completing his D.Phil in Modern History from Oxford, taught at the University of Calcutta and held visiting appointments at Princeton University, the University of Manchester and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
"Ashoka University is something very close to my heart and values, and I will continue to serve it to the best of my abilities," Mukherjee said.
To recruit a new Vice Chancellor, the governing board has formed a search committee and hired executive search firm Egon Zehnder, to lead the recruitment process.

ErosNow partners with LycaTV to stream its content * Online entertainment platform ErosNow today said it has partnered over-the-top ethnic entertainment provider LycaTV to stream its content.
The launch of Eros Now will provide LycaTV customers with access to the largest collection of premium Indian entertainment with hundreds of titles in several languages, ErosNow said in a statement.
The service will be included in Tamil, Sinhala and African packages and will be available for a small additional fee in others, it added.
LycaTV is part of British multinational corporation Lyca Group and delivers a broad range of international TV shows across multiple devices. The platform caters to a wide range of major ethnic communities, streaming over 450 channels in over 25 languages.
