Around eight persons were injured and two vehicles damaged in a clash between members of two different communities near north Delhi's Majnu ka Tila area today.
Four youths have been detained under Section 107/151 of CrPC in this connection, said DCP (North) Madhur Verma.
According to police, the clash began over a scuffle between two youths in the area.
Locals from two different communities soon gathered in the area and some miscreants amongst them allegedly resorted to stone-pelting, police said, adding that they had to use mild force to bring the situation under control.
Normalcy was restored in the area by 9 PM, they said.
