A class 10 student of a private school in west Delhi's Vikaspuri was apprehended after he allegedly brought a pistol to the institution to threaten his senior with whom he had a fight over a petty issue, police said Friday.

The 15-year-old boy also brought two men with him to the school for helping him exact revenge on the class 12 student but they were held, police added.

During a picnic organised by the school on Wednesday, two teenagers got into an argument after one of them directed the other to push the swing.

The argument turned into a scuffle and the class 10 student was injured, a senior police officer said.

Enraged over this, the class 10 student along with two others went to the school with a pistol on Thursday afternoon and started quarrelling with the senior and his friends and showed them a pistol, the officer said.

They were overpowered by the guards in the school and handed over to police, the officer added.

Following the incident, the class 10 student was apprehended by police while the two others were arrested in connection with the incident, he said.

One of his accomplices was employed by his father who owns a jewellery shop while the other accused was his friend. They were aged 22 and 28, respectively, the officer said.

The weapon belongs to either of the two men and efforts were being made to ascertain its ownership, he added.
