Class 12 student allegedly raped by 17-year-old boy

A class 12 student was allegedly raped by her 17-year-old neighbour when she was alone at her residence in Safdarjung Enclave of south Delhi.
Police have apprehended the minor, who studied in class 11 and lived with his parents in the area.
According to the police, the incident took place around 10 PM last night when victim was alone at her home as her parents went outside.
"When the incident was taking place, one of girl's relatives reached there and caught the accused and called up the police. Police then nabbed him," said a senior police official.
The official said that based on complaint filed by girl's relatives, a case has been registered against the boy and a medical examination has also been conducted on the victim.

"An FIR has been registered at Safdarjung Enclave police. We have detained the accused boy and further investigation is on," official said.
