Class XII student commits suicide in school

A class XII student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in his school premises in Soni village in Banaskatha district today, police said.
The deceased was identified as Haresh Nai, a student at Sri TV Patel High school at the village.
"The victim had left home for the school in the morning. When he did not return from classes till late evening, his worried family members went to the school, where they found him hanging from a tree," a police official said.
The family members immediately informed the police, who rushed him to a hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead.

Police said a suicide note was recovered from his bag, in which he has said he was taking the extreme step due to his poor academic results.
However, police said they are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the incident.
