Officials said that 50 dustbins have been provided in collaboration with Aurbindo Market Association to various residential areas through RWAs, Markets, DM and SDM offices and other places.
According to the department, 35 dustbins are yet to be distributed as per the legitimacy of demand in the area by October 13.
District Magistrate (South) Niharika Rai said that to ensure proper use and regular cleaning of these dustbins, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) is being requested to maintain cleanliness and to collect and dispose off garbage on regular basis from these bins.
Rai also said that cleanliness drive was conducted by the RWA K block Sangam Vihar today.
