Dhumal said the state government had started many schemes like Rs 353 cr Deen Dayal Kisan Bagwan Yojana and Rs 300 crore Doodh Ganga Yojana for boosting farm economy.
A unit for skimmed milk had been set up at Datt Nagar in Upper Shimla region to facilitate dairy farmers and they were being encouraged to take up organic farming.
