Searching for "absconding" Narain Sai, a special team of Gujarat Police conducted a raid at the residence of local jewellers Narsingh Soni and his son Chandan Soni and took them to Surat for further interrogation, said K K Jadega, who was heading the police team.
According to the police, they had inputs that Narain Sai was hidden at the residence of these jeweller, who were his close aides, for quite some days.
However the Gujrat Police team did not find Sai there.
Faizabad SP city R S Gautam told that it was the special operation of Gujrat police to nab absconding Narain Sai, accused in different crimes including sexual harassment of two sisters from Surat.
