In its forecast for the next 24 hours for the state, the MeT department predicted that Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea might have partly cloudy sky with possibility of thunder or lightning.
As per the MeT office report, no rainfall was recorded from any of the four major cities of the state with the weather remaining mainly dry across the state.
The absence of rainfall led to hot and humid weather conditions, and also increased the maximum temperatures by a few notches.
Bhagalpur also remained the most humid place with 81 per cent followed by 80 per cent of humidity level in Gaya and 74 per cent in both Patna and Purnea.
