CM Naidu expresses anguish over drowning of AP students

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today expressed shock and anguish over the incident in which more than 20 students from Hyderabad are said to have been washed away in the Beas river near Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
Around 24 engineering students from Hyderabad, six of them girls, are feared to have been washed away this evening in River Beas near Thalot on Manali-Kiratpur Highway, 40-km from Mandi.
Chandrababu has requested the Himachal Pradesh government to expedite relief and rescue operations, official sources said here tonight.
