In a letter to Superintendent of Police of Cyber Crime (Bengaluru), Dinesh Amin Mattu, who is Media Adviser to the Chief Minister, has sought immediate action against those creating fake twitter accounts and posting tweets that are causing confusion.
"Chief Minister's fake twitter accounts have been created, initially 'CmofKarnataka' account was created and several posts were tweeted before deleting it.
Again anotherfake account 'CMoKarnataka' has been created in which fake andconfusing tweets in the name of the Chief Minister are beingposted," the letter said.
The official page of the Chief Minister of Karnataka "@CMofKarnataka" is a verified twitter account.
