Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, his cabinet colleague Saryu Roy and Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon today appeared before a local court in connection with a case of ransacking.
Along with five other persons, the trio appeared before the court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate which fixed December 28 for next hearing.
The National Highways Authorities had on November 21, 2013 lodged an FIR accusing the eight of ransacking their Ranchi-based office.
The leaders had reportedly staged a sit-in demonstration there demanding repair of Bahragora-Ranchi-Patna road NH-33 on that day.
