"The Director General was accorded a traditional welcome with full military honours at the Coast Guard Air Station where he inspected the guard of honour, comprising Coast Guard personnel drawn from various units at Chennai", an official release said.
Later, Bisht inaugurated the married accommodation project at Thalkancherry and visited various CG establishments here. Tomorrow, the Director General is scheduled to undertake a reccee on a Coast Guard hovercraft from Mandapam, it said.
