Coimbatore college wins in skid pad event

Team ZEALL20 from Automobile Engineering of Kumaraguru College of Technology won the first prize in skid pad event and was placed among the top 10 teams in an international event held in Punjab.
Team ZEALL20 was formed with 20 students to participate in the International Go-Kart Championship (IGC-2015) conducted by LPU SAEINDIA Collegiate Club, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
They fabricated the vehicle and rigorously tested it inside the campus and also at the track of Kari Motor Speedway to get the real time track experience, a college release said today.
The team cleared all qualifying tests like Technical Inspection, Engine noise test, Tilt and Brake Test in the first attempt and was the first to enter the dynamic events, among the more than 100 teams from all over India and abroad, during the main event held at the University from March 27 to 30, the release added.

They also successfully completed Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross and Endurance Tests with ease and speed and won the first prize in skid pad event.
